REFLECTION (WEEK 2b) :Course / Learning Management System

On this week, our task was to find information about Course / Learning Management System and adding to that, we need to write a report regarding the topic. The report should include the following subjects such as definition, advantages and some examples of software for course or learning management system. Thus, we also need to share our report with our classmates, lecturer, and our course-coordinator using google documents and in our yahoo groups.
For this task, I am pairing with Ilanggo to accomplish the task given. Both of us were not really familiar with the term Course / Learning Management System as this is the first time that we ever heard of it. In order to make our works easier, we divide our task fairly so that each of us had our own resources and at the end, we just need to combine our reports. It is quite hard to find some reliable resources regarding this topic, but after pretty much hardwork, we manage to find some important points for our task. Teamwork is really needed in completing this kind of task.
Course/ Learning Management System is a software application for the administration, documentation, tracking and reporting of training programs, classroom and online events, e-learning programs, and training content. This application can be used by the employers to immediately evaluate on their employees’ capabilities, tracking and reporting to enhance their performance, allows the user to change or adjust the description of a product, and providing regulatory and legal compliance inside an organization. All in all, Course/ Learning Management System had provided an easier method for us in keeping the standard up so that the quality of every task, assignment or product is on the right level.
Upon completing this task, I have realized that Course/ Learning Management System is important in keeping up the quality of education throughout the world. Our world is rapidly changing and we need to be flexible in dealing with the educational aspect. Hopefully in years to come, our country’s education will be up to the world standard.
