For this week, there are two tasks which had been given to us by our lecturer which are assignment 7a and assignment 7b. For assignment 7a, we need to create a powerpoint slides by using Open Office Impress and adding to that, the content would be based on our mini research task that we have done the previous week. Using Open Office Impress for the first time is very challenging because we are very use to Microsoft Powerpoint. It felt weird for the first time because the layout was quite different and not to mention the tools inside the software is somehow different from Microsoft Powerpoint. But however after a few trials and error, we manage to get the assignment done tidily.
For assignment 7b, we were instructed to create a mini video clip of our topic which is Mobile Learning using Window Movie Maker. This is certainly not the first time we use this software as we have use it before in other subjects and coursework. Besides that, our lecturer had also given us many tips and tricks on how to utilize this software to the fullest. Adding to that, we also had the chance to use new software which is Audacity. This software will enables us to edit any songs that we like. After we had edited our song, then we transfer the song into Movie Maker.
Last but not least, this week had promises a lot of great things to us in improving our ICT skills. We manage to learn the application that we had never used before but we also had the chance to perk up our knowledge in utilizing the software that we are very familiar with. This is all thanks to our lecturer and hopefully next week will learn many new things from him as much as this week.
